Cloudingo alternative for the files that never reach Salesforce
Cloudingo is a Salesforce-native application for finding and merging duplicate records inside a Salesforce org. If your problem lives in the org, that is where it belongs. If your problem is a CSV, a HubSpot export or a list on its way in, it needs a tool that is not bound to one CRM.
The short answer
Pick a Salesforce-native app for continuous dedupe inside the org. Pick Datauntangler for the export, the import file, and everything upstream of the CRM.
Datauntangler compared with Cloudingo
Every row is a public, category level fact you can check on Cloudingo's own site. What this table deliberately leaves out is set out further down the page.
| Salesforce-native dedupe app | Datauntangler | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | Inside the Salesforce org | In your browser, on a file |
| Works on a raw CSV | No | Yes |
| Works before an import | Only once records are in | Yes, that is the point |
| Setup | Install and connect the app to the org | Open the page and drop a file |
| Matching | Configurable rules on Salesforce objects | Email, normalized identity and fuzzy matching |
| Review before merge | Yes | Yes, every change and every cluster |
| Pricing model | Subscription tied to the org | Per plan, based on rows and seats |
The case for cleaning before the import
A duplicate that never enters the CRM costs nothing to remove. A duplicate that gets in acquires activity history, an owner and a pipeline entry, and merging it becomes a negotiation.
Cleaning the file on the way in is the cheapest step in the whole process, and it is the one most teams skip because the tool they own only works after the fact.
Using both is reasonable
These are not mutually exclusive. Clean the inbound file here, keep a native app for the ongoing hygiene inside the org, and you stop paying twice for the same duplicates. The inbound half of that is CRM data cleansing, and on an org export specifically it is Salesforce deduplication run through the same data cleaning tool.

The limits of this comparison, stated on the page
A comparison page written by one of the two products is worth exactly as much as what it admits.
No prices for Cloudingo
We have not verified their pricing page today, and a stale price quoted by a competitor is worse than no price at all.
No scores and no stars
There is no rating on this page, in the markup or anywhere else on this site, because there are no reviews behind one.
Category facts only
Every row of the table is something published on their own site: what it runs on, how it is licensed, how you drive it.
