Insycle alternative for the one-off file, not the ongoing sync

Insycle is CRM data management, built to keep HubSpot and Salesforce records tidy on an ongoing basis. That is a different shape of problem from a single messy export that has to be right today, and a different shape of bill.

The short answer

Pick a CRM data management platform when the requirement is continuous and CRM-bound. Pick Datauntangler when the requirement is a file.

01 Side by side

Datauntangler compared with Insycle

Every row is a public, category level fact you can check on Insycle's own site. What this table deliberately leaves out is set out further down the page.

CRM data management platform Datauntangler
Primary object Records in a connected CRM Rows in a file you have
Connection required Yes, to the CRM No, nothing to connect
Good for recurring hygiene Yes Yes, with saved recipes on paid plans
Good for a single export Heavier than the job needs Yes
Where the data sits Vendor platform connected to your CRM Your browser for the demo
Pricing model Subscription that scales on record volume Per plan, based on rows and seats
02 Where each one is the better answer

Volume pricing and the one-off migration

Pricing that scales on the number of records in your CRM works well when the record count is stable. It works badly for the month you have to clean a 200,000 row historical import once and never again.

Row based plans with a browser demo in front of them let you check the tool against your real file before anything is agreed.

No connection, no review cycle

Connecting a platform to a production CRM is a security review, not an afternoon. A tool that reads a file you already exported skips that conversation entirely, which is often the difference between cleaning the data this week and cleaning it next quarter. What it does to that file is data deduplication plus normalization, and the evaluation checklist for the category is on data quality tools.

04 What is not claimed here

The limits of this comparison, stated on the page

A comparison page written by one of the two products is worth exactly as much as what it admits.

No prices for Insycle

We have not verified their pricing page today, and a stale price quoted by a competitor is worse than no price at all.

No scores and no stars

There is no rating on this page, in the markup or anywhere else on this site, because there are no reviews behind one.

Category facts only

Every row of the table is something published on their own site: what it runs on, how it is licensed, how you drive it.

Check it yourself instead

The demo above runs the real engine on your own file, which settles the comparison faster than either of our marketing pages will.

05 Before you switch

Questions about switching from Insycle

Will there be CRM connectors?
Salesforce and HubSpot connectors are planned Team plan features. They are not available today, and the site does not present them as if they were.
